Feb. 16	Mayor’s reception for the anniversary of the 2006 earthquake, Café Museo, San Francisco.
Feb. 18	Friends of John Paul II Foundation Ball, Marriott Hotel, Monterey, California. I was the guest of honor at this Polonia Ball. Made a speech honoring the late Pope John Paul II.
Feb. 27	Dinner and Reception for the Polish Ambassador, His Excellency Janusz Reiter in Los Angeles. I attended this private dinner at the Consul General’s home where I received personally from the Ambassador the honor of Polish citizenship.

Mar. 8	International Women’s Day Dinner, Hotel Nikko, San Francisco.
Mar. 9	Russian American Business Owners Association dinner, San Francisco. I represented the Polish Consulate at this event, where I was introduced and had my photograph taken with Mayor Newsom.
Mar. 14	Global Trade Council lunch, St. Francis Hotel, SF.Attended this lunch with representatives of the Consular corps.
Mar. 26	Greek National Day reception, San Francisco

April
Apr. 2	Memorial Mass for Pope John Paul II. I participated in the Mass and service on the first anniversary of the death of Pope John Paul II at the Cathedral in San Francisco.
Apr. 4	I met with representatives of the Rain Forest Network who delivered a personal letter for President Kaczynski on the subject of the Bialowieza forest.
Apr. 6	Reception at German Consulate in San Francisco
Apr. 22	Polish table at Festival of Cultures at University of California, Berkeley Organized and attended the Polish table at International House annual Festival of Cultures at the University in Berkley
Apr. 25	Reception for visiting Polish journalist, Wlodzimierz Krzyzanowski. I met with visiting Polish journalist Mr. Krzyzanowski, introduced him to my Polish staff and took him to the Bankers Bluc, Bank of America building in San francisco

May
May 1	Attended march and speeches supporting Immigration Reform, San francisco. Represented the Polish community, along with Maureen Morris, at march and speeches in support of immigration reform.
May 4	Flag Raising Ceremony at San Francisco City Hall Participated in a formal flag rising ceremony at City Hall on behalf of the Consulate of Poland. I also met with the Mayor's Polish-American chief of staff, Steve Kawa
May 6	Polonaise Ball - Fairmont Hotel. Attended this popular and impressive Polonia Ball and made some remarks at the event.
May 7	Polish Constitution Day celebration, San Francisco Golden Gate Park. Attended this public festival and presented an award to Mrs. Krystyna Chciuk for her years of service to the Polonia community
May 9	Reception for visiting Polish journalist Joanna Wajda, Guest of the Us Department of State. At request of the International Visitor Program of the US Department of State, I met with visiting Polish journalist Ms. Wajda in my office in San Francisco.
May 17	Jewish Community Center for President Kwasniewski. Introduced former President Kwasniewski at a reception and speech at the Jewish Community Center in San Francisco.
May 19	Met with Greek Consul General at the opening of the Greek Festival, Oakland.
May 23	Meeting with Michael Laster, President of the Polish Yacht Club of SF.
May 31	Taube Foundation Lunch for President Kwasniewski. Attended lunch for President Kwasniewski and the First Lady at the Four Seasons in San Francisco.

June
June 1	Reception organized by the Italian Consulate in San Francisco.
June 9	Lunch and reception at Polski Dom in San Francisco on occasion of the first game of Polish team in the World Cup. At the invitation of Mr. Waldemar Glodek, President of Polish National Association (PNA), I watched the Poland-Ecuador game with my student interns at the Polski Dom.
June 9	Reception organized by the Russian Consulate in San Francisco.
June 10	Opening night of the SF Ethnic Dance Festival, of which I was one of the sponsors.
June 25	AILA Conference on immigration reform and law, San Antonio, Texas. I attended this conference on the subject of the immigration reform legislation, as well as other immigration law subjects.
June 29	Meeting with Mexican Vice Consul, Bernardo Mendez.

July
July 11	Meeting with Hon. Ramiro Davila, Consul General of Ecuador in my office.
July 14	Reception of Bastille Day, presented by the French Consulate at the Palace of the Legion of Honor in San Francisco.
July 19	Meeting with former consul, Roman Czarny in Los Angeles. Meeting with Hon. Mauricio Villegas, Consul General of Colombia. Organized Reception for visiting Polish political leaders and EU Parliament members, Adam Bielan and Michal Kaminski. We held a reception at our office for visiting Polish political leaders Mssrs. Bielan and Kaminski and their wives in my office in San Francisco. The event was attended by several members of Consulates from other countries and various EU Parliament members attending the conference of ALEC in San Francisco.
July 20	Meeting with Brad Zielinski, investor in Polish IT industry. Met with Mr. Zielinski in my office. This was the beginning of a project to work with RINF, a leading Polish outsourcing company, to promote outsourcing of IT work in Silicon Valley to Poland. Attended reception for visiting EU Parliament members, including Adam Bielan and Michal Kaminski. At the invitation of visiting Polish political leaders Mr. Bielan and Mr.Kaminski, I attended a reception of the American Legislative Executive Council (ALEC) in San Francisco. Present were various EU Parliament members from Great Britain, Belgium and the Czech Republic as well.

Aug. 10	Reception organized by the Ecuadorean Consulate in San Francisco.
Aug. 16	Meeting with Oscar-winning Polish filmmaker, Zbigniew Rybczynski in Los Angeles. Meeting with the Board of the Polish Center, Los Angeles.
Aug. 17	Meeting with former consul, Roman Czarny in Los Angeles.
Aug. 20	Meeting with Russian Businessman Dmitry Gribanowski. Meeting in my offices with Russian American businessman, head of RusArt Import and Export, to discuss trade with Poland and possible trade mission to Poland.

September
Sept. 1	Meetings with the Consul Michal Urbankowski. Welcomed the Consul from the Polish Consulate in Los Angeles to our office in San Francisco for meetings and planning for the upcoming IT symposium.
Sept. 12	Organized Reception for Central American Consul Generals. We held a reception at our office for members of the Consulate Corps from Central America and Mexico on the occasion of Central American Independence Day. The event was attended by the Consulate Generals from El Salvador, Honduras, Guatemala, Nicaragua and Costa Rica, as well as the Vice Consul from Mexico, and many other dignitaries in San Francisco.
Sept. 14	Flag Raising Ceremony at San Francisco City Hall.Attended a formal flag raising ceremony at City Hall for Central American countries. I was the invited guest of the Consulate Generals from El Salvador, Honduras, Guatemala, Nicaragua and Costa Rica.
Sept. 18	Meeting with Hon. Francisco Venegas, Consul General of Honduras in my office.
Sept. 20	Presentation at SF Economic Forum on Poland as an investment partner. Prepared and made a presentation along with George Slawek of the US-Polish Trade Council on the attractiveness of Poland as a location for investment and outsourcing.
Sept. 27	Meeting with Hon. Sergiey Nikolaishuk, Consul of Ukraine in my office.

October
Oct. 9	Reception for visiting Polish Ambassador and EU Staff member, Gabriel Beszlej, guest of the US Department of State. At the request of the International Visitor Program of the US Department of State, I organized a reception for the former Polish Ambassador to Mexico, Gabriel Beszlej, in my office in San Francisco. The event was attended by the Consulate Generals from Honduras and Ecuador, as well as the Vice Consul from Mexico, and many other dignitaries in San Francisco.
Oct. 16	Conference on Trade with Russia. I attended this conference on the subject of the trade with Russia organized by the Russian consulate and the Russian Chamber of Commerce.
Oct. 19	Speech to the National convention of the Polish American Congress in San Diego. I attended the national convention of the PAC and gave a speech on the subject of “Mobilizing Polish youth for Polonia and Poland.”
Oct. 25-29	Trip to Poland for official business and personal visit. In October, I traveled to Poland to launch this project and met with officials of RINF, a leading Polish outsourcing company, as well as with Siemens, BenQ and other IT companies there. I also met with representatives of the Mayor’s office in Wroclaw, including President Pawel Panczyj, President of the Wroclaw Agglomeration.
Oct. 29	Arrive in Washington DC for meetings with Consuls. Meet up with Consuls and others in hotel.
Oct. 30	Meeting of Polish Honorary Consuls with Embassy Staff in Washington DC. Attended meeting and seminars all day at the Embassy from the Embassy staff and the Ambassador.

Nov. 2	Annual Dinner of the Polish Engineers Club, Silicon Valley.
Nov. 7	Meetings with the Consul General, Hon. Krystyna Tokarska-Biernacik. Welcomed the Consul General from the Polish Consulate in Los Angeles to our office in San Francisco for meetings and planning for the upcoming IT symposium.
Nov. 8	Meeting with Hon. Francisco Venegas, Consul General of Honduras in my office. Reception organized by the El Salvadorean Consulate in San Francisco.
Nov. 10	Reception and Speech by Dr. Radzilowski on the subject of Polish-American Women in History. I organized and helped fund two speeches by Dr. Thaddeus Radzilowski of the Piast Institute on subjects of Polonia history held at the Polski Dom. On that occasion, I presented awards to two Polish language teachers on behalf of the Polish government.
Nov. 12	Reception and Speech by Dr. Radzilowski on the subject of Polish-Jewish relations in the United States. In conjunction with the Taube Foundation, organized this second speech by Prof. Radzilowski at Polski Dom in San Francisco. I hosted Prof. Radzilowski at my home and spent much of the weekend with him.
Nov. 15	Met with Zofia Shicker, Treasurer of Polish American Congress, SF.
Nov. 29	IT Symposium on Web. 2.0 in Poland and US at Stanford University. Attended the symposium sponsored by the Polish Consulate in Los Angeles and the US-Polish Trade Council to a symposium on Web 2.0 in Poland and the U.S., which took place at Stanford University.
Nov. 30	Tour of Google and Intel headquarters with Polish dignitaries.

Dec. 1-3	Spent three days with representatives of Polish IT industry visiting SF. Took 3 visiting officials of Polish outsourcing companies on a tour of San Francisco and Northern California including hosting them at my vacation home in Cazadero on the Russian River.
Dec. 4	San Francisco Mayor’s Christmas Party.
Dec. 7	Spent day with 8 visiting University Rectors from Poland in Berkeley and San Francisco. Led the delegation of visiting Polish rectors on a tour of the University of California at Berkeley and through meetings with University officials on the subject of technology transfer.
Dec. 8	Lowiczanie Choral Concert of Polish and Slavic Christmas music, Berkeley.
Dec. 9	Spent day touring wine region and Redwoods with 8 visiting University Rectors from Poland. Took the visiting Polish rectors on a tour of Northern California including Muir Woods Redwood Park. Reception for 8 Polish University Rectors at Stags Leap Winery, Napa, California. As the guest of Warren Winiarski, we hosted Minister Rabczenko and the Polish University Rectors for a wine and cheese reception at the famous Stag’s Leap Winery in Napa, California.
Dec. 17	Polish Wigilia, Polish Arts & Culture Foundation.
